Over de functie
Op de afdeling Kap & Grime zijn we met dertien medewerkers. Als 1e kapper/grimeur ben je verantwoordelijk voor de kwaliteit en de continuïteit van je producties. Je bereidt, na overleg met de ontwerper, het hoofd Kap & Grime en de coördinator atelier, de werkzaamheden voor, bespreekt de ontwerpen en de aanpak met de (voorman) kapper/grimeurs, geeft instructies, ziet toe op de uitvoering en geeft directe feedback aan de grimeurs. Bij voorstellingen ben je het eerste aanspreekpunt. Verder maak je zelf ook pruiken en verzorg je het haarwerk, de grime en de special effects van artiesten tijdens voorstellingen. Bijhouden en controleren van de inzet van uren en middelen, archivering van de productie.

Je werkt volgens rooster gemiddeld 152 uur per vier weken. Werken op avonden, in weekenden en op feestdagen hoort erbij evenals zo nu en dan een tour.

Wie wij zoeken
Wij zoeken een prettige en vakkundige collega ter versterking van ons team. Je hebt ruime ervaring met kappen en grimeren in de theaterwereld, historische haarstijlen, karakter make-up en het zelfstandig maken van (film)pruiken. Je weet voor rust en focus te zorgen door het overzicht te bewaren, helder te communiceren, flexibel te zijn als zaken anders blijken te lopen en door goed samen te werken. Je vindt het leuk om jezelf steeds weer te ontwikkelen en kennis te nemen van nieuwe technieken.
Omdat artiesten vaak niet Nederlandstalig zijn, is het nodig dat je goed Engels spreekt en handig als je ook de Duitse taal beheerst. Een afgeronde kappersopleiding strekt tot aanbeveling.

Wat wij bieden

een functie waarin je wordt uitgedaagd als vakman (-vrouw);
een salaris dat, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring, minimaal € 3.286,- tot maximaal € 4.461,- bruto per maand bedraagt. Dit is inclusief onregelmatigheidstoeslag en exclusief 8% vakantiegeld;
jaarcontract met intentie tot verlenging;
30 vakantiedagen én 5 ATV dagen;
een pensioenregeling, bijdrage in reiskosten, opleidings- en trainingsmogelijkheden, bijdrage in een sportschoolabonnement.

About the position
In our team you are working together with our 13 colleagues in the department. As wigs & make-up supervisor you are responsible for the quality and continuity of your productions. You prepare the work, after consultation with the designer, the head of the Wigs & Make-up department and the workshop coordinator, discuss the designs and approach with the (senior) wigs/make-up artists, give instructions, monitor the implementation and give direct feedback. At performances you are the first point of contact. In addition, you also make wigs, take care of artists’ hairdressing, make-up and special effects. Track and monitor deployment of hours and resources, archiving of production.

You will work on average 152 hours per four weeks according to a schedule. Working in the evenings, at weekends and on public holidays is part of the job, as is an occasional tour.

Who we are looking for
We are looking for a pleasant and skilled colleague to strengthen our team. You should have extensive experience with hairdressing and make-up in the theatre world, historical wig dressing, character make-up and independently making of (film) wigs. You know how to create a calm and focused atmosphere by keeping an overview, communicating clearly, being flexible when things happen to be different and working well together. You like to develop yourself continuously learning new techniques and styles.

Your language skills in English are fine and you’re willing to learn Dutch. Basic Level German, Italian or French are welcome. Completed hairdressing training is recommended.

What we offer

a job in which you are challenged as a professional;
depending on knowledge and experience, a gross yearly salary of between € 42.590 and € 57.824,- including an irregularity allowance and 8% holiday allowance;
a one year contract, with the intention to extend;
35 holiday days;
