Nationale Opera & Ballet, is het huis van De Nationale Opera en Het Nationale Ballet.
Beide toonaangevende gezelschappen worden door het Rijk gerekend tot de topinstellingen in ons land. Met dirigenten, zangers en dansers, regisseurs, choreografen, ontwerpers en orkesten van wereldniveau creëren, produceren en presenteren wij producties die behoren tot de (inter)nationale top. In 2016 ontving De Nationale Opera de International Opera Award voor Opera Company van het jaar. Naast de opera- en balletvoorstellingen bieden wij kwalitatief hoogwaardige educatie- en participatieprojecten voor een breed publiek van jong tot oud. Ruim zeshonderd collega’s met 34 verschillende nationaliteiten werken dagelijks samen aan de realisatie van onze ambitieuze programmering met een artistieke kwaliteit en vooruitstrevende techniek die ons uniek maken.
Voor het Koor van De Nationale Opera zijn wij op zoek naar:
Freelance
Tenoren (1ste en 2de) en Alten (2de)
Functie-eisen:
· conservatorium opleiding zang of opleiding van gelijkwaardig niveau
· professionele koor- en/of zangervaring
Informatie en procedure:
· We vragen u drie aria’s voor te bereiden waaruit de auditiecommissie een keuze kan maken, waarvan tenminste twee opera aria’s uit verschillende stijlperiodes en in verschillende talen.
· Bij de auditie is uiteraard een pianist aanwezig. Echter, bij het inzingen is geen pianist beschikbaar. Het staat u vrij om voor de auditie een eigen pianist mee te nemen, vermeld dit dan graag in uw reactie.
· De auditiecommissie bestaat uit ca. 8 koorleden (twee leden van elke stemgroep) en de artistieke en zakelijke leiding van het Koor.
· De duur van de auditie is ongeveer 10 minuten.

The Dutch Nationale Opera is looking for:
Freelance
Tenors (1st and 2nd) and Alt (2nd)
We ask:
· vocal education at the conservatory or equivalent training
· professional singing experience, preferably in a chorus
Information & Procedure:
· You are expected to prepare three pieces in contrasting styles of which two should be from the operatic repertoire and in at least two different languages. You may be asked only to sing one.
· A pianist will be provided though you may bring your own should you wish. A warm-up studio will be available from 30 minutes before your allocated time but there will be no opportunity to rehearse with the official accompanist.
· The panel will consist of the chorus mistress, one or two representatives from each voice category and the chorus manager.
· The audition will take approximately 10 minutes.
